Notre Dame cathedral
World-famous cathedral thanks to Victor Hugo’s book « The hunchback of Notre Dame », with Quasimodo and Esmeralda, it is the most visited monument of the capital. Built more than 850 years ago, in Early Gothic style, it was dedicated to the Virgin. Outstanding rose windows, cross-ribbed vault, elegant statues and flying buttresses caracterise this building. Ransacked during the French Revolution, a major renovation started, supervised by architect Viollet-le-Duc in 1845.

Information
Reopened in December 2024, we can do a guided tour with small groups (5 people maximum) without any reservation. For more than 5 people, a reservation is required online (the cost of 45€ includes their own audio system, maximum 24 people per guide). The guide fee is not included.
Highlights
Since the opening in 2024, and the works done inside, the cathedral is now spectacular. The guided tour will focus on the restoration and some of the extravagant projects suggested by several architects.

The Pere Lachaise cemetery is really a place to stroll around, to discover its amazing statues and graves. Its quiet alleys surrounded by old trees, are full of charm.
Basilica of Saint Denis is a delightful monument, where you can appreciate the most important number of recumbent medieval statues and the first example of the gothic style in France.
